Jolene's
Bio
Passionate About Inspiring Others
Jolene Watson was born and raised on a grain and cattle farm in Saskatchewan; her passion for animals started at a very young age and led her to her first career in veterinary medicine. Her favourite memory was being the head Registered Veterinary Technologist & Dental Hygienist at the Cat Hospital of Saskatoon (the first cat-only veterinary clinic ever in Saskatchewan). Her love of cats has existed since childhood, and she continues to support local pet rescue organizations. She shares her life with her fiance, Baden, and their three rescue cats: Charlie, Rosie, & Boscoe.
Jolene is a Registered Veterinary Technologist and speaks to veterinary groups.
Jolene's love of speaking was sparked in 2001; her true extroverted nature led her to join Toastmasters International, and she later graduated from all four Dale Carnegie courses. She has over 20 years of office management experience in various industries, including natural resources and healthcare. Her passion for Jungian psychology led her to become certified as a Myers-Briggs® Practitioner through Psychometrics Canada Ltd., where she graduated with a 99% average (she is obviously passionate about psychology). She speaks on various topics and has notable expertise in networking etiquette, customer service, presentation skills, employee retention, and stress management.
Jolene is so honoured to have recently received the following prestigious awards:
1. The NBSA Growth & Expansion Award
2. The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneurship Award
3. The Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan Growth & Expansion Award
4. The Regina Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Excellence Award
5. The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Service Award
She looks forward to expanding her business across Canada and internationally!
